January 21, 2025

NAIROBI, Kenya, January 21- The accreditation process for the 2025 WRC Safari Rally is now open.

Africa’s round of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) will be held from March 20-23 in the Kenyan capital Nairobi and the Rift Valley town of Naivasha. It will be the third leg of the 14-event championship and follows the opening rounds in Monaco (January 23-26) and Sweden (February 13-16).

“The accreditation process has kicked off early to give international and local media as well as other personnel from corporate sponsors and government agencies enough time to get accredited.
“This year’s Safari will be even bigger and better than the previous edition and a seamless accreditation process will go a long way in guaranteeing all the targets set by organisers are met,” stated National Press Officer James Wokabi.

Last year, over 250 local and international journalists were accredited to cover the event and organisers are looking forward to more requests this term.
“Every accreditation request will be considered on merit. This will help in ensuring the 2025 WRC Safari Rally receives the best coverage worldwide and also, help us in giving the best experience and facilities to all those accredited for the rally,” he added.

Interested applicants are requested to do so on Safari Rally’s official website- https://safarirally.ke/.

Applications will close on February 20. This deadline will not be extended.

Accreditation badges and other necessary tags will be available for collection a week to the start of the Safari Rally in Nairobi and Naivasha.
